Default t-tops

were all the 4th gen t-tops tinted black?

just curious cause i have a 99 bird and the t-tops were dark black tint. they were damaged so i found a set locally from a 94 camaro, wondering if they would be the exact same, of if they have any differences. thanks!

The earlier ones (I believe 93-94, maybe 95 as well) had dot matrix tint. It's basically what it sounds like, a bunch of little dots of tint. You might like it better, you might not like it at all... have to see a set up close to know.

Ah yes, I know the ones you speak of. I dont like that at all, I much prefer a uniform dark black tint. Esepcially on a dark black car.

Thanks for the response!!

Brown? That's odd. Did you do that yourself, or did they come like that?

I suppose in the right light or right time of day you could see the dark ttops as being brown rather than black.
