took everything removable off of it and taped every opening really good and clamped it into a vise and cut a rag into small strips to wrap around every tiny spot. Used mothers aluminum polish. took around 5 hours manually and then applied wizard metal sealer and let that stay on for 48 hours and wiped it off.
Others use a buffing wheel and take about an hour but i didnt want to risk getting anything into the fuel rail since you cannot get it out and i just had my fuel injectors cleaned and rebuilt with new filters.
Annodizing is soposed to come off with oven cleaner but i tried many and it never worked, also tried milkstone acid which if you left a steel part in for days it would be gone and none of that touched it. the aluminum polish is instant, i was very surprised.
