Default Painted Calipers photos, opinions wanted!

Ok, painted my calipers today, came out GREAT! painted my base on it, stuck on the decals I scored on ebay, then cleared it with 4 coats.. I'm thrilled with how it came out, but should I paint the backside of the outer pad? What color? Suggestions?

FOR ALL YOU ******** WHO HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN CRITICIZE, DO NOT POST. EVERYTHING THAT IS PAINTED, WILL STAY THAT WAY, THE COLOR IT IS.

thanks in advance!

You want opinions but not critisim? Thats like welcoming unprotected sex and expecting the girl to not come out pregnant.

That said, they look awesome. Wanna paint mine?

edit: Why are your headers floating out of the box?

I'm wondering what else I should paint, and in what color. Constructive criticism is good. ******* criticism isnt.

edit.. headers are the new "phantom" series of pacesetters. Ultra lightweight, they've actually got fishing line holding them down, kinda like a kite. God knows where the first set went..

I did mine gloss....I keep them pretty clean anyways, and flat just doesn't " ZING " as much..[mettallic pads do not shed much dust anyway...I stuck with good 'ole GM DELCO pads. ]

"ZING!" is good... what kind of paint would you recommend? I've got rust-oleum gloss black but I dont like it because it doesnt "lay" nicely.. It doesnt spray all that well, either.

I kinda think you should paint the back of the pad. Either black or silver. Every thing looks so damn good but the back of the pad just sticks out to me. Every thing else is shiny and then the pad is dull. Either way you did an awesome job on them.

I agree completely. I would go with flat black to hide the dirt and dust like you mentioned. It definately needs something though. Excellent work though!

Looks sweet, personally I'd do the back of the pad in white since it wouldn't show dirt as bad as black, and would make the orange stand out more.
