Thumbs down swap seat covers?

I have a 98 Z28 convertible with leather, and power driver seat. The seats are in good shape for the miles, but the driver bolster shows some typical wear. Has anyone swapped the front leathers side to side to extend the life?

EDIT: N/M, read it wrong the first time. I haven't seen it done personally, but It's a good idea! I don't see why it wouldn't work...

I just had to do this with my Z...I just went to the junk yard and found a foam seat back and replaced it...its a lot easier that way and only $60 for entire seat....

It won't work on a Z really because it has a cut out in the back of the cover for the seat latch. You can do it on TA's because they have a large piece of plastic that covers the whole rear of the seat.

And you will have the holes from the seatbelt guide on the wrong side.
