Angry How do I clean up this mess??

Ok, so they decided to pave the roads around here, but they tore it all up and left it for a month before they decided to come back and fix it. Well, it rained and I had to drive on the wet unpaved road and now I've got that limestone or whatever its called splattered all under my car and in the engine bay. I tried to drive as slow as possible, but it didnt work. I've managed to scrub 95% of it out of the engine bay, but theres parts that I just cant reach. Does anyone know what will help remove this stuff? Soap and water just dont cut it.
Thanks

That sucks man... they are tearing up all the roads around here too

As far as getting it off, try a stronger detergent like simple green. If that doesn't help any try a pressure washer w/ detergent under the hood. Just be careful where you shoot it

You could have it professionally steamed at a clean up shop, but you can probably get it off with time and stuff you have lying around the house already.

use bug and tar remover. cover your COLD engine in it, let it sit, then spray off. make sure you rinse thuroughly because it wont rinse with one little splash of water

That is probably THE single best "mod" i ever did. I went and had my engine bay steamed...and it was stupid how clean it was. Looked like i had never driven the car before. A little expensive....but ****, did that look good!
