Default diffrence between buffing and removeing wax

just wondering what the terms mean what would buffing/polishing be i though when u rub the wax off that was considered buffing it out, i dunno plz explain

Buffing/polishing is more accurately associated with "working" an abrasive product on the finish to remove defects, but the act of removing polishes and waxes is often referred to as "buffing."

When I remove a wax, that's what I call it...removal.

People have different ways of saying things. Buffing is usually meant polishing, either by machine or hand.
