Powder coated hood latch(chrome)
Well my buddy recently got a new powder coating system and we got board today. We started looking for easy things to practice on and we pulled my hood latch off. We then media blasted it, wiped it down and powder coated it chrome. It came out looking badass. Ignore the black bolts(hardware store was closed, ss bolts come monday) and the dirty engine(just got it back from the body shop) Here are some links let me know what you think!

www.powdercoatingit.com - some pics of some chrome powder coated stuff on this page. No its not paint, my camera is just shitty. We bead blasted the paint off then pc'd it, baked it for 15 minutes, let it cool and put it back on. We didnt use any clear on it because we were just testing the waters. Clear makes it look 100 x's better. He's only got an 18x18x18 oven right now so we just did some small parts. Didnt cost me a thing. He said he'd use this piece to get me hooked! Next up is the hood release and some misc. engine parts.
