Default Gauge,hvac,light switch overlay reviews!

I've done alot of reading on these overlays. I was wondering if you have them could you say the maker and how they are holding up or any problems that you've had with them. Like I said I've been through tons of post, I'm just looking for actuall experiences with all the different products.

I've seen some that sit on top and some that actually stick on. Just trying to get some ideas beacuse I want to order some, just not sure who to go with. I am leaning to the silver in color ones though instead of white.

Also let me know if you changed the color of the lights and how it turned out. I have a Ta so its the amber color. Which I dont mind the amber and think it would look better with a different cover gauge overlay.

I use the ones from the WS6 store (they're actually McEwens), they've held up fine, these are the overlays that don't require needle removal. They were very simple to install, took longer to get the cluster out than to put on the overlays, the lights are stock (I like the amber lighting)
If you want a pic I can post one, or you can look for my post titled "interior shots"

Macewens here, bought from a non sponsor.

I added some Trans am/Firebird logos to match. I run the cluster overlays, and HVAC/headlight control in silver.

So far so good. Macewens product is top notch, and priced very well IMO. I've read some complaints about bubbling. I've had no such issues with them.

I had the cluster out, overlays installed, and put back together in half hour. It might take the average guy a bit longer, but it's still a very easy install.

Go for them, if you have any issues, you can just pull them off. I doubt there will be any to speak of however.

Here are some pics of my setup.

Pics are shitty, my hands shake like crazy.

Yeh, I just ordered all the silver overlays and got a black Pheonix for the gauge overlay. Now I just have to wait for them to get here.

Thanks, I didn't see the any tiny ws.6 decals though. I'm going with white and a silver bird decal. I'll be happy to post my experience with the the install if it's any help white rhino. Hey bad *** ta, is the bird decal on your guages one decal that included the ws.6 or were they two seperate decals? Where did you get em?

Yes, one decal with the bird and WS6.

I bought them about a year ago from board member named Teri. She said she had stopped having them made, but would send me all she had left.

I haven't seen them anywhere else, just the above pictured Firebird style decal. I don't know as I have any left. I know I have a couple black ones, not sure what size they are.

Thanks for the compliments.

Thanks for the info! I'm actually looking for a silver/ grey firebird decal. Ws.6 store has them, but I'd like to see them in a pic first. I have to say everyone here is much more helpful and informative than the ls1.com board. Thanks again!
