Default Some New Interior Shots

Some shots of new interior pieces:

Pieces done in Cadillac Redline Pearl Metallic. Still have a few pieces left to do including a custom center console with the cupholder, ashtray and change holder/cell phone holder or whatever the hell that thing is deleted. Here's a pic of the progress of that so far. As you can see I have inlayed real carbon fiber material into the ashtray recess. It's not just a flat panel, it actually follows the contours of that recess including the walls. Can't see it too well in this picture but the change holder cutout on the front has been filled and smoothed in also. Irregular shaped hole there is for the push button start.

Thanks. I didn't know about it until a Cadillac CTS-V owner asked me to do a set of fuel rail covers for him and wanted them color matched to the Redline. I liked it so much I decided to use some of it on my car.

Here's a pic of the intake just out of clearcoat

everything looks great man, nice job. i think adding some red leather to match the paint on your seats would tie everything together even more, like the new gto's, i think they have 2 toned seats. just my .02

intake = hawt sheet!! interior = not so much. a glossy surface just doesnt really look good on interior panels imo. no doubt that the work and color are awesome though.

Binks M1-G HVLP. Been using it for about 3 years now. Do all my fuel rail covers with it.

Not as many as you might think. That's what is so great about high build primers. They really level out textured surfaces nicely. I started with 180 grit to knock down some of the texture, then went to 320 grit and then straight to primer. Probably 2-3 hours total.

Thanks for all the compliments and feedback. Even you guys who don't like the painted interior, which I totally understand, have been stand up in appreciating the work involved to acheive a quality finish.
