Default Lots of progress :) 56k No

Well, I've done most the sanding/preparing/priming, and actually sprayed some base I'm really happy with the car. The paint is not perfect yet, but final call will be after scuff n' buff tomorrow * Bright and early * The lines are better than they were before the wreck, but that's not saying they are perfect lol. I always knew the car was in a accident before, but the rigging that was going on was unbelievable. The fenders were missing bolts that bolt it to the nose, and they were wire tied together! wtf was going threw this guys head? I have a LOT of work invested in this, and am happy with it.

BTW, PPG Artic white base, and 3 coats clear

Thanks!!! Yea, doing it at my best friends house. His dad is a god at body work, a god I tell you. Hes giving me a lot of direction, and advice, but left most of the work up to me, then he goes over and checks it out, to make sure I'm not ******* it up I did spray quite a bit, but I left the clear to him, after all, he is the pro

IDK if I ever even wrote out a thread on LS1tech about the wreck, prolly a good thing as I would have gotten flam med for being a dumb *** kid. Here's some before pictures, after I wrecked it street racing.

Here's were I went off the road, bounced once, then flew into the field.. Ditch banged it pretty good.

I took that picture Sunday morning, wreck happened Saturday night.
Here you can see my launch, ******* 225's

A picture of my car sitting by were I went off the road at.

All in all this was a very dumb mistake, and a very dumb choice on my behalf. It has cost me dearly, not having my car to go to school/work, bumming rides, not to mention the cost of meterials, and what I've paid Jeff.

Really, really nice job! That's gonna turn out pretty good, not to mention the confidence and sense of accomplishment that you'll experience when it's all done.

So does this mean you're not planning on airbrushing in "Cocaine" somewhere on the new paint?

IDK if I will do any branding on her, I like to keep it clean and simple. I will get a picture of a baby in a sleeper laying on its back with a N20 bottle in its mouth and "Bottle Feed Baby" underneath it painted on the rear filler panel once I get the motor rebuilt and my dual stage installed

But not this upcoming week, but the week after, I am having the roof painted black, the mirrors, and the CETA bumper mod. I am also going to paint the wheels black. After that, I am in the market for drilled and slotted rotors, ceramic pads, and painting my calipers red.

More pictures. I realize that some of the line's arent perfect, but I'm not trying to hide that at all, I am not trying to say that I am a professional painter, or that I could have done this by myself. I owe a lot to many, and I am very grateful.

Hey very nice work! Whats the CETA roof? Should look pretty sweet with black rims and CETA bumper. Plan on putting emblems on or leaving it naked? That paint really does look clean as hell, well done

Im doing the full Ceta conversion. The CETA had a black roof and mirrors like the z28's.

IDK about emblems, looks so freash and clean with it naked, we will have to see. Next on the list is drilled/slotted rotors, and redoing the calipers red, and the ceta conversion, I wanna drop it about 2 inches or so, then do clear corners, and be DONE with ext , well, for now

Yea def, The CETA conversion should be damn cool and lowered is always sweet. However i say jsut black calipers would look the best, the red may look a bit out of place with all the white and black but its up to you man. You got a great start goin!

IDk, after I get the wheels black, the white calipers ( what I have now ) might actually look good again... Tie it together, I can always repaint them down the road. Thanks for teh black suggestion, but I want them to stick out a bit. The stock wheels don't show much, but what does show, I want to stand out. I know painting stock wheels is kinda but its also, :cheap:

I bet you could pick up some cheap WS6 wheels and get them painted CETA style, Black 16's look goofy IMO, and with the WS6 wheels it will be pretty CETA like. The point looks good, I need a paint job on mine, but all my money has gone to the motor.
