Exclamation ***Please Help!!! Need Front Bumper!!!***

I bought the car with a huge crack in the front facia of the bumper, right below my grill, and some paint damage with a small crack on the front quarter drivers side panel.
Now they say they can fix the side damage but the bumper is a different story, if they were to repair it (bondo style) the likley hood of it cracking again is really high. And since the cost of a new bumper is astronomical from GM, what do you guys think of this aftermarket one? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/98-02...QQcmdZViewItem

I was told by the autobody guys that going with a non GM part is a no no, but I don't see why this would be bad, I mean they can color match it and everything so how would it be bad? Would the sizing be one possibility?

All the aftermarket bumpers I've seen dont fit for ****......there are very good adhesives and plastic welding procedures that can probably fix your stock piece, got any pics??
maybe get another estimate from another shop or two?

Worst case, I'd get a used one off a car that was being parted and strip and paint that, before I'd buy an aftermarket knock off.

you go to the paint store, buy a bottle of "flex additive" and add it to the paint before they spray it.. the body shop should know this...
