F-Body Project
Heres the '98 Camaro im doin up for my wife. Its only a V6, but these days thats a good thing. Especially since my wife is the one that will be driving it. The color is Tangerine Candy. I deceided to go with the stripes at the last second and think I made the right decision. So far Ive swapped out the shocks and struts and have added some lowering springs. The fuel pump and tank were both bad and im awaiting a donor as of now. Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks,
-Jeff
This is how I got it
Heres some pics of the bumper cover after paint...

Well its not SOM, its Tangerine Candy. Believe me, in person you can see the difference. My camera is a POS.
As far as rims Im thinking of getting some chrome C6 wheels. But thats still up in the air. I like the look of gunmetal gray too.

That color is HOTT! The suspension setup looks nice from that small glimpse in the shop. I'm sure this car will turn out really nice. Looks like you pay attention to detail. That's what it's all about.

Thanks all positives responses. I was super happy with the way the color turned out on something bigger than a spray out. I chose to put the stripes on at the last second. And I'm glad I did. Nothing fancy, but enough to really set off the Tangerine candy.
Yes I do all mu own painting. Im a painter at a local body shop. The paint, being a candy, isnt really sold as a gallon. Ive got 2 quarts of "Sparkle Aluminum", a bottle of Tangerine candy dye, which is mixed with a clear basecoat. Then I clear on top of all that. Expensive? Depends I guess on if you are the painter or if you are the customer
I will be adding pics as I go. next up...doors, hood, rear bumper cover.
