Default [WRECK] Another one bites the dust :(

It was my fault I guess. Bad situation you hope never happens to you. I was pulling out of a parking lot to go left, so I had to cross a lane of traffic. I look left and see nobody even coming, so I start looking right at the lane I have to pull into where everyone is going ~45-55mph. Regularly you have to stop really hard pulling out because someone will whip into the turn lane to turn, and so I was worried about being hit.

Well, I kept watching right because I didn't see anyone left, hit the gas to go, and t-boned a minivan

Apparently she pulled out of the parking lot right to the left of me after I had already looked that way.

Totally my fault, I should have looked left again, but I was worried about being hit myself so I was watching the traffic I had to pull into.

Anyway, I dunno how much the damage will be. The hood is bent up, both quarter panels are broken and the front bumper was ripped off. I don't know if it will be totalled, but it looks like the framing around the motor might have bent in closer to the motor as well.

Anyway, here are the only pics I could get tonight:

lol no seriously, it wouldnt be hard to fix at all, we did that plus more to mine and I did all but the paint myself (pics on my cardomain) so you can see I actually do a damn good job. It def would take some time to fix and some type of pulling equpiment and some slight skill and knowledge, but overall it wouldnt be hard

Please, just stop while you're already far enough behind the rest of us.

As for the thread starter, good luck getting the car back together and let us know how it goes for you!

I work in a body shop, easy? HAHA Time, sweat, faness, profection. Everyone thinks is soooooo easy! There so much time and care to get everything smooth and lined up! Maybe you should wreck you car and see how EASY it really is!

Granted, you won't know how deep the damage is until things are pulled off. I hope the super structure isn't pushed over to one side a little, if not then from the pics, it all looks very repairable. Real sorry to hear about your misfortune.

Sorry to see that man. Did you mean both fenders were destroyed? You said quarter panels, did they get damaged too?

I would not say it's an easy fix and no one can really say that from the pictures. All depends on what the unibody damage is. Insurance companies are quicker to "total" a car today due to safety concerns.

Good luck!

Im ssuming no opne was hurt, that's all that really matters. You can get her fixed. I really doubt the insurance company will want to opt to total it.. if they do.. simply request to have first dibs on buying it back you should easily have money left over to fix her and mod her up (

Fixable, once all the broke stuff is off you will see the damage is cosmetic.
