Default Painted part of my dash, and tinted my own windows

After a few trial and error runs with tinting windows, I finally did my t/a's 35% ( legal limit) , and they came out amazing, and thats all for $20 TOTAL. I then realized that f body glass is already dark , so i guess my tint is about 32% now...

I also took out the part of the dash that goes over the gauge cluster , sanded it down and paintd it black. I think it looks a lot better and gives the interior a somewhat different look, which it seriously needs anyways.

Yeah, I will put more black in to go with it. The dash part is just a start.

props to you for doing the tint yourself! That is one thing I will not touch, I'd rather pay the $150 to get it done by a pro then have a half assed looking job done by myself lol! But yours looks awesome!

Nice job. I tried doing tint myself like 20 years ago and it still stands out as don't think I've ever cursed so much in my life as I did trying to get the tint bubble-free. Never did get it right and just riped it all off.

Haha, best advice is , just use two people. what i do is, I stretch it out ( two people on both sides grabbing top and bottom corners. I lay my side down first, and smooth it with my hand .Then work my way over to the other persons side. Then i take the squeege and work the bubbles out, while also working the bottom of the tint into the rubber on the edge of the door. I find that works the best.
