Default help with console removal

can anyone help?I cant seem to get the switch disconnected from the backside of the console for my convertible top.it is the switch that puts the top up and down.ihave removed the console but cant seem to unplug the harness from the switch

If anything, just pop the plate out and slide it through the hole as one piece and don't remove it from the plate.

There's a blue locking tab in the connector that you have to slide back in order to unplug it.

I see a white tab on the left side ,this is the locking tab that pulls out yes?

It could be white - it was blue on the last one I looked at. Anyway, it's a piece of plastic that is inserted along the side of the connector next to the wires. You have to slide it out (away from the switch) in order to unlock the connector. This is different from most connectors that just have a locking tab you squeeze to release the connector.

Thanks dude.What a pain in the **** the LT1 is.Those connecters suck,plus you have to have hands the size of a 2 year old to get in there and dissconnect it
