https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearance-detailing/397352-new-a4-shift-knob-pics-need-opinions.html heres mine i did. Just my old 94 z28 shifter with the leather removed. Need to repaint it to match a little better and paint the button a grey not black. Also shortened the shifter shaft about an inch.

That turned out good dennster, pretty easy to come by too. I've been looking for a replacement but have only found one that I might consider.

I have been asking this question for a while now. I'm working on something that might be a nice looking application for our cars. I'll keep you guys posted on how it goes. I have been doing a lot of research and there is not a lot of options.

Here is an idea for a different auto ****:

http://www.metalreviewcentre.com/images/PDRM0352.jpg
http://www.ichibahn.com/*****/cruzSeries.jpg
There was a picture of it in his car, but I don't think the picture is available anymore.

This adapter:
www.cau-llc.com/shiftknobinstall.html
will allow you to use any manual shift ****.
(they have one for the f-body too)

I added a leather shift boot to my auto a few years ago too.

Here is my writeup
www.fadingarrow.com/shiftboot.htm

Here is another writeup with more detail:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...highlight=auto

My write-up isnt as detailed because I wrote it later from memory.

Scroll down to the automatic section.

I like the look of the A11 myself. You can find them on ebay from time to time.

Levoc makes some nice ***** as well, but they are expensive.

I also found this one, but it's pricey like the Levoc one.
