'53 kit on C5
I'm not particularly fond of it, but I happened to see this at the mall yesterday, so I had to take some pics. It just doesn't look right on such a bigger car.

I like those cars a lot. I've seen several pictures and seen one in person. It needs to be lowered an inch or so and have some more classic looking wheels on it for it to really work well.

Yeah, the wheels really don't fit it at all. That was one of the main things that stuck out to me. Still, overall the body just seems off, which makes sense, being that it was designed for a much smaller car. Kind of funny, when I was taking the pics, a guy pulled up asking if someone had put a Thunderbird body on a Corvette. Apparently he didn't know the '53 had many of the same styling cues as the Thunderbird.

I saw one in-person several months ago; it was kind of strange, but I like it.
The owner said they had their car converted by some company, but I forget the name. I wouldn't buy a new car and have it converted, but if I had one in the garage, I wouldn't mind driving it around, either.
