Back is the best color for any car, imo, if you have the time/dedication to keep it clean. otherwise get pewter (which is what i have) as it's less maintenance.

Black, when clean, there are few cars as good looking as a black WS6.

That's a tough one. I love both colors. I own a pewter T/A, but I've always wanted a Black WS6. I think I'd go with the black one.

Once you go Black, any other color seems uncivilized.

But Black Fbodies are so good looking...
I thought about dark blue once....
I think it was a Tuesday.

(j/k)

Its all personal opinion, but ive always loved black.
You wont regret it ill tell you that much, just keep a nice shammy cloth around, and some car wash... You'll be needing it.

I own black and I love it. But I saw a nice pewter 2002 WS6 a few days ago and it looked great. It's a real tossup because black shows all the spider webbing and dirt easily. You can't go wrong with either.

Get silver. Pewter looks dirty.

Get the one you like best. Personally, I think pewter and SOM are the two best colors on f-body's. Everybody and their mother has red, black & silver.

Anyways, black looks awesome in my opinion. When I was looking for my F-body I figured SOM, Navy Blue, and Black would be great. Red is acceptable if it's the right car. Anything else, no way, unless it was such a good deal I could afford to have it repainted and still save $. I ended up with red, but would trade anyday for a black one. Pewter looks like crap IMO. I personally don't mind washing my car, it's relaxing. Black all the way, brother!

Blacks a great color, when kept pretty clean...

Or atleast when you stand 10+ feet away, it looks good.

Black is so...elegant...

Definitely black: it's so aggressive and badass.

Pewter is just so..... boring, and plain. IMO it's worse than white.

I was looking at a pewter ta before I got my ws6, they are good looking..., but color wise, I think I would have gotten tired with it after a descent while....

A little too "old people" for me...

Different strokes for different folks. I'll admit, pewter can look a little plain on a stock car (aka my car), but with the right mods it will look killer...

***hope CRAGER doesn't mind me using his car as an example***

You guys really think that looks plain? Damn, I guess I'm the minority here, but I haven't seen too many cars on this site that I think look better that that.

ps. I know the original post was about a TA, but just imagine the same thing on a TA

Oh, and my 2nd favorite color...

Pewter sucks.

Black looks great, but it takes a lot of dedication and skill to keep looking good. If you don't keep up with it, the swirl marks and scratches will kick your ***.

There is no best color. I for one think that bright orange metallic ( pewter ) looks amazing, but I havent really seen to many colors dull the amazing lines of the 98+ Ram Air.

Black will always be looked at as the badboy coler because well, its black.
And some people dont want to stand out.

I for one like it when people look, then look again, and my car Visually is as stock as a rock.

Nice rims make any car look nice, but color is all personal opinion.
But damn are those Ram Air's sexy... But IMO, I would take the Two Tone Cloth out of Z28, my dash, and place it in a newer Ram Air.
Just My Opinion.

I would.....neither. Pewter is a biege to me, and black is possibly the worst color for a car. Have fun trying to keep it clean. It's like a diaper on a new born...looks good when you first put it on, looks like crap (literaly) after an hour. Had a black car, vowed I would never get another. If it was given to me for free, I would sell it and get another color. I would say go silver (easiest color to keep clean), red, SOM. Red and SOM stand out from the crowd in my opinion, and when your driving an SS or WS6, you want to stand out. Just my opinion, good luck on whichever you pick

**** about cleaning? Black is fine.

Like to go a couple weeks between washes? Pewter is your man. The dust/dirt that collects on pewter just blends in with the paint
