Should I take off my Blackbird Stripes??

Default Should I take off my Blackbird Stripes??

hey, . . was thinkin about doin this for awhile now, . . i got a black ws6 with silver metallic blackbird stripes, . . . do or don't? im prob gonna do it but jus wanted to hear other people's opinions . . . also: if i do, is there a way that i could salvage the stripes??? is it possible to take em off with soapy water and apply them onto that waxy paper?? . . . thanx a mil!

you won't be able to save them unless you know an adhesive to re-stick them.. any vinyl i've used refused to stick once it peeled a bit. New vinyl is cheap and easy.

well the reason i ask is because while paintin my calipers and decalin, i took off the caliper decal and put it back on the white paper cuz the paint wasn't dry, . . when i tried to take em off, it was stuck!!! i put the decal back on the wrong side!!! it wouldn't come off but when i soaked it in soapy water, . . no prob, . . . . .

yeah I agree they look great, I have yet to see one where im from with the blackbird stripes on it

Owning a firehawk, I fell in love with this car - mostly becuase of its custom hood!

The only other hood design, that I envy, is the WS6 hood with Blackbird stripes!

My hawk hood just wouldnt do justice to those strips. IMO, I say keep your stripes.

they are trash if you take them off..... but they aren't expensive.... so if you want to try it for a while with them off i say go for it. You can always order more later.
