Default Interior paint

What is the best stuff I can buy at a local auto parts store to paint some of my interior on my 98 Formula? Something that does not smell like paint when you put it on and that will stick on good.

ill go with with my normal statement, that if the paint was meant to be on the inside, it would already be there. besides that, krylon and some other companies make some really good stuff now that bonds to plastic. they also have some awesome colors and textures now. do yourself a favor and hit a home depot or walmart instead. youll find more variety and probably better prices.

I actually sanded my dash down to get rid of the texture, then sprayed Duplicolor high build primer on it to even up, then wet sanded it smooth, sprayed Duplicolor's exterior paint (the red was matched to the exterior color) and then after a few layers of the color coat, I topped it with Duplicolor Top Coat Clear Coat. It's been a few months now and they're still lookin great.

if you are going to do this, just take your time prepping and painting. the more attention to detail the better the final product will be. don't listen to the tools that tell you what not to do, do what you want. Anything looks better than what our stock interiors come with, with the exception of T/A seats. I'm in the process of smoothing out my whole interior and changing it to black/ebony, but I'm using a spray gun, PLAS-STICK by DuPont as a plastic adhesive, and all the good ****.
