Anyone cut the baffles on the Ultra Z hood?
Howdy Guys,
I was looking at my Ultra Z hood for a while and in the slot where the air comes in is this wall baffle thingy. I guess it is there to block off big bugs and stuff that makes it through the honeycomb mesh.
Anyway, has anyone got a saw or dremel tool and cut that wall piece off? I'm sure it can be done but just checking if anyone ventured to do it.
Also, I have had the hood over a year but never blocked off the airbox from taking air in from the bottom. Did other owners block this part off or are other owners using different methods like CAI or K&N FIPK.
Just trying to get a consensus going on what people do with this hood
