Default Couple new things, tail lamp treatment, cluster work, pics inside

Did my first set of tail lamps w/ VHT and clear... but it came out too dark for my tastes...

BEFORE

So I went at it again, taking it easier on the VHT this time, and also working around the reverse lights for a more unique look...

AFTER

It's damn hard getting a good pic because the flash shows the reflection in the lights, and no flash washes out the reverse lights. But this is the best I have for now. I think it looks pretty solid. And I'm happier with the darkness of the tint, much less likely to be hassled now, I think.

And FYI all three lenses were done using about 3/4 of a can of VHT... which is why I keep saying Camaro guys should definitely not need to buy 2 cans. 2 cans = pitch black.

Coincidentally, I am now looking to sell my original darkies here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts-sale/514736-smoked-vht-clear-ls1-camaro-tail-lamp-set-99-02-ls1-t-50k-mile-ip-cluster.html

While I had a boost of energy, I also upgraded the old ip cluster:

This is a combination of $20 eBay overlays, a Firebird bezel, and a piece of black electrical tape over the back of the ASR OFF area on the overlay. Pulled the ASR fuse, added the tape, and saved $70 on the SLP module.

Did a write-up here:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearance-detailing/480335-ls1-camaro-white-gauge-led-cluster-install-w-pics.html

Peace.

They were just too dark. People drive like maniacs up here in Michigan and the last thing I want is to be sued because someone said they couldn't see my brake lights.

Do a little too much late night driving to live w/o backup lights, too. It looks sharp in person, pics don't do it justice.
