wings west question for TA
Hi,
I would like to install the front air dam on my ws6.
My question is, how much lower than stock will the new air dam be?
I do not mean the body piece, I am on about the under carrage air collecter.
I would like to know because there are some monsterous speed bumps here, and its already a close call.
Many thanks

Its not the speed bumps you have to worry about, its the concrete parking blocks that you need to worry about. Speed bumps are for jackass' like me who get the Spohn Tunnel Brace and have the car lowered and cant even go over a bigger speed bump w/o hitting the brace or not being able to go over it at all.

I scrape alot with the air deflector whenever i go over speedbumps. Everyone who rides in my car throws a look of panic my way everytime this happens. I can't help but laugh because it is only my air deflector and not the front air dam itself. Just be cautious of where you are and you will be fine.

Thanks for the replys.
I really want this air dam, and can see the stock one has been in a scrape before .
But I dont think that is going to stop me installing WW, it just looks so damn Hard Core!
Formula-TA, Does your car run hot with stock air dam, as I have read this can be a problem?
I am not lowered, so I will try the WW air dam.
Cant wait to get this on!

If this is the one you are talking about, please let me know where you got it from. I love the way it looks:

sleeperfd, that is not the piece I am talking about, sorry, and good luck.
I am talking about the part on WW website( the red TA ).
So they have stopped production? I phoned a while back and they said they were relocating their factory.
There is a company over here (England), who said they import WW parts, but they are taking a long time to fill a container. WTF!?
Now I am worried.
Will let you all know the outcome on Tuesday.

I have had mine for a little over 5 years and I have never had a problem with it running hot.
