painting ok iv painted the back bumper flat black and that came out good. i want to do the mirrors and the part between the t-tops and rear mirror. i dont have a spray gun so its gonna be spray cans. can i get a good clear coat/look with just spray paint. what do i recemmend? paints? tips?

It can be done, it's just a little more difficult. Just make sure you prep all your pieces really well before you paint. I think there are some mail order places that have some good stuff (I don't have any personal experience with them though). I have used some of the cheap stuff that you can get at the local parts stores though...turned out pretty good. Just take your time.
