Default My !antenna mod and the aftermath of being "Bitten"

Alright I just got my stubby antenna in the mail today and luckily I had given the car a nice wash-n-wax yesterday.

You can see here my lame attempt at covering up the removed antenna. That's electrical tape right there to cover up the silver metal.

Now here we go with the new BitViper antenna mod and it's much better looking.

Just a nice angle as I teetered on a ladder

Close-up.

$30 for something as simple as this seems like just a little much, but when I was trying to find shorter ones at auto stores, they were crap and about $20. There's always the free 'cut the mast' but I don't think it looks that much better. I like this because it matches the attachment point very well as you can see in the close up.

So for me it's ~$30 well spent because I've got the look I wanted!

If you want other angles in the pictures let me know and I'll go snap more.

If you're interested in getting one, click on the blue link in BitViper's sig when he posts.

If I'm not mistaken only the Firebird ones retract. The camaros are stuck with the ones that stay out all the time. New one looks great.

Yup you are right and I hear trying to retrofit the Firebird antenna into a Camaro is not an easy job. I went the same way the first poster did but I'm not mentioning any non sponsors name here

Got my stubby over a week ago; love it too. It came down to !antenna or the BVA, and I'm very happy with the results of the BVA.
