I believe Hotchkis is the only one... this pic is from a member's car here. It's polished, not chrome.

how much to chrome a basic STB, the BMR style?

Most likely over $100. Have to strip powdercoat, polish and then chrome. Most shops have a minimum charge of $65-$75.

I was figuring around $100 maybe a bit over, but I'm a stickler for details so I wanted to find out exactly first.

I really only add like 5-15% to my cost because I want people to buy the stuff to begin with.

can the coil pack brackets be chromed since they are aluminum?

The coil brackets are actually mild steel and will rust if they aren't chromed or painted. I tried to polish one for the hell of it. It was starting to shine, but I had to touch up a part with 800 grit sanding paper and the polished area started to flash rust.

Yeah I'll ask.

I put a satin finish on my FIPK and STB...wasnt too hard...but I dont think its gonna polish out....

And when parbreak shows up..yes I am going to clear coat them J/K





Time to clean the engine too! Yuck!
