Default Ground effects almost on!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys, im finally almost done painting my ground effects. I used all y3f peices except for the front, i baught the rk sport front peice. It was a pain in the a$$ finding the y3f peices, but i did! I did some major prep work and i was dettermined to do these myself! Here are the steps i took---
1.)Cleaned all peices with soapy water
2.)Went over them with scotch brit pads
3.)Sanded them with 650 grit
4.)Filler primed
5.)Sanded down with 650 grit
6.)cleaned with 50/50 rubbing alcohol and water
7.)black primered (3 coats)
**************thats where i am at now**************
TOMORROW
8.)Black GM base coat (3 coats)
9.)Clear Coat (3 Coats)
10.) Wait for a day or so, then put on car!!!

Ill post pics as soon as i can, i am posting because i am extremely excited about this, lol

BTW, its a 2001 SS

Any comments on process are greatly appreciated.

Kevin

I think that the GFX look fine on a Camaro. I'm not a fan of Y3F myself, but it's not exactly an eye-sore either. Post pics when you're done.

Is the Y3F this package? And don't forget to wetsand the primer before you apply the color coat. You didn't list it so I'm just making sure.

I love the ground effects, it was one of the things I looked for when I bought my last Camaro.

Way to be the biggest ******** in the world. I don't recall him asking for your comments on what you feel looks good on a camaro. He asked for comments on his process. Preach your ideals elsewhere.

I love the way gfx look on camaros. I like the y3f the best. I found a perfect set off of a wrecked camaro. We need pics when finished.

I had a bubble in my clear coat and it was getting water in it. about the size of the end of a pencil eraser. i was drying out the inside and the bubble flaked off down to the color layer i couldnt leave is exposed so i put a thin layer of clear nail polish on it to hold it till i can learn how to fix it right any ideas
