69 emblems
ok, so i got the 69 style z28 badges today in the mail, how do i mount them in place of the stock z badges? well basically i need to know what i will need, does 3M tape work or is thier some special type?

Use a heat gun or hair dryer to heat up the old emblem. Then use dental
floss to "saw" under the emblem and it will pop right off. If there is any tape residue, let it cool and then rub it off with your thumb like you're rolling it up.
After that clean up the area with some wax/grease remover available from the auto section in WalMart. It's called KleenStrip and comes in a green can.
To install new emblem, buy some 3M adhesive emblem tape. Cut to fit back of emblem and press on.
Hope that is complete enough.

If the Z28 emblems are like the V flag emblems I just put on you'll need to cut the studs off the emblem with a Dremel and grind them down. You can then stick the double side tape to the back of the emblem and put them on the car.

hack the pegs off with a dremel. next step is throw on some 3M and go for it. and by the way, you will need to bend the emblem so it isnt so curved, otherwise it will stick way far out, and there wont be anything for the tape to adhere to. good luck.
