If you can add the $400 Bilstein shocks (set) to go with the springs you'll love the handling, but you can re-use your factory shocks and just do the springs to save some cash. When it's time to do shocks go straight for the Bilstiens. ~Joshua
Here's a thread that might help you on the spring selection....

Love the car...then again, I've always liked Firehawks with chrome rims. ~Joshua

I think Hawk's with chrome wheels are for sissies . Unless they are red .

Glad you kept that car. There's a certain Formula Firehawk locally that's very hard to keep up with in the mountain runs.

Yeah, I like it. I remember the first Hawk I ever saw was a '99 Black M6 sitting on a showroom floor. My little brother and I drooled over it for a good 15 minutes before the salesman shooed us away. I promised I'd have one some day and it only took me 5 years to get one. Not necessariy my first pick in options and color, but definitely good enough. I just scored a new built tranny from a member that should really liven things up. Now it's time for a restall to 4K and a MS3/tune.
Oh and by the way, you're car is certainly a benchmark for Hawk's on this site. There's a lot of really nice ones, but yours takes the cake.
