Default clear sidemarker question

i got some clear sidemarkers. the bulb on the driver side keeps blowing bc precipitation keeps getting in there. it is getting in there bc the bulb got hot and melted/disformed the hole where the bigger bulb goes in. how do you guys think a led bulb would work in there? can a led bulb blow bc of being wet?

ANY kind of electronics and water do NOT mix.....even LED's are subjected to mositure at the base where the anode and the cathode make a connection to the socket itself.

drill some small holes in the front of the light so the water has somewhere to escape and for air to get in to dry it out

I dont have clear corners, but for a lil' while, every time I washed my car, I would blow atleast 3 lights before the moister would go away. I reinstelled the light housing, and made sure it was super tight, and have not had the issue since (knock on wood) I guess it is a problem with a lot of the 4th gen camaros.
