Default Anybody have this problem with their autometer gauge?

The bulb just doesn't fit flush in the hole. It doesn't go in all the way for me to turn and click it. There is some kind of circuit board or somethin blocking the way. I even bought a colored LED and it still doesn't fit. It illuminates nothing. It's only like this on my air to fuel ratio gauge but on my nitrous pressure gauge it fits like a glove. Any ideas? Oh yeah not to mention, the gauge at first didn't come with a bulb so i had to have JEGs send me another.

I'd push harder, mine was a tight fit too.

Umm. If it's a typical LED Air/Fuel gauge, you can't put a backlight in it. The gauge itself lights up to show Lean/Rich. A backlight would be pointless. It's got the hole for it because they use the same back casing for all the gauges. That's why it didn't come with a bulb and why the bulb you got specially for it won't fit.

My old a/f didn't have a hole for the bulb. I had the CF series. I'm not sure on this, but if it did have/use a bulb don't they typically have a "light wire" so it'll dim when you turn your parking lights on?
