How much did you pay for that beauty? And do you still have the link to the auction?

You bought it like that on purpose?!?
If so, why do ask now?
If not, Send it back & get yer money back. Or get the shipping company to pay for damages.

How about "We need more info!"

Yer screwed. $160 down the toilet.
That seller should be ashamed of himself for selling the hood in that manner & not giving more details. Sad, ...

I figure as long as the top side is clean who cares. You can clean up the botom easy and it will all look alot better when painted.

"There is a small dent on the lower part of the hood on the driver side, but it should be easy to fix."

LMAO...

that hood has way more issues than a dent. maybe it's the front chunk that's missing? well if you can look past that and the 40 or so fiberglass cracks in it - I'd say it's a quality piece.

in all honesty - you should have seen that coming. he's got a picture of the shitty thing on the auction.

dogg.... seriously... are you retarded??

I saw that auction.... CLEARLY just by the seller feedback, the 3 shitty *** pictures and the complete lack of information in the auction, you could completely tell that the hood was a total piece of ****.

and you bought it.

wow.

Dude, your were stupid for buying that hood. Obviously it was greatly misrepresented by the seller, but the damage to the hood is clearly visible in the pics he attached to the auction. So in the end it is still your fault.

That hood is not salvageable. So it looks like you are out $190.

Scrap. There's no area for the hood latch or hinges to even bolt to at all.
Complete scrap. Not worth pinning on at all.

I'd try to return it, if he fights take it up with ebay. He didnt give a very good description, theres a hell of alot more wrong than a f#@kin dent (pics say alot though) You might be able to get something done that way, but your most likely stuck with it.

chaulk it up to a big mistake and learn never to do it again. throw the hood in the trash or try and get a refund. but by the pics you should have known the fron of the hood was missing a lot on the bottom. (no grills, or ledge under them)

i'd say dont touch it at all - keep it in the exact same condition u got it in, take detailed pictures, and send them into ebay or paypal (whoever handles the claims). "...a small dent in the hood..." doesnt describe the half of the damage i see - not to mention the underside of that hood is compeletly torn up. he didnt give detailed pics or information of the extent of the damage, and only showed the part where the "dent" was. to me, thats withholding information.. dont know if that could hold up tho.

just an idea man.. that really sucks. u bought it, saw wut happened, now learn from it (quitting isnt necessarily the best answer to everything, unless ur a ricer).
