Default Caliper paint?

Just wondering what brand and type of paint you guys use for painting your calipers? Also is it ok to put a layer of clearcoat over the paint to prtect it and make it shinny? If so what type of clear is best?
Thanks guys

I've used the Duplicolor caliper paint set, it brushes on. It's very easy to apply and looks great. The just sparyed it w/ Duplicolor clear spray paint.

The brush on kit is like $14 at Kragen or the likes.

yeah clear it, pick your high temp paint and then there is some high temp engine enamel that is a clear, spray that on after you have let the caliper paint cure for a while, usually a day or so.

brake cleaner and a hard brush, then use soap/water to wash it off, if you use a spray can you shouldnt have to primer it, i never did with mine.

Agree on the brake cleaner and brush. Also you might want to sand it down with a dremel or by hand with 120
