Default ss hoods?

i am trying to decide if i should buy a z28 or ss. i was looking at ss hoods to put on a z28. the slp one looks the same but is 500 instead of 1500. im wondering if there are any differences and how much it would cost to get it painted to match the car or just repaint the whole thing. thanks.

Where did you see an OEM SLP SS hood for $500 new? They are more like $1000 on slponline.com. I suggest getting OEM and getting a good fit.

If you want an SS hood, just get an SS. Otherwise, go with an Ultra-Z hood or something.

many people buy z28's over SS's #1 the price diffrence, and #2 they want many mods and a modded SS will eventually be worth less then an all original SS.... so i would buy a z28 and put the cash i saved into ur first and most common mods (lid and catback), but if you want the SS look go with an SS.... but keep in mind there are other nice hoods besides the SS hood....the sunoco hood and the ultra z (which is more effecient then the ss hood) both would set your car apart from every other camaro.....

I had to go on slp's website to check and make sure it wasn't on clearance. Please tell me where you found an slp hood for $500.

I would get a SS instead of a Z28. BTW they charged me 500.00 to paint the hood, blend the fenders and bumper.
