Default Good cowl hood fitment?

are there any brands of cowl hoods to stay away from because of poor craftsman ship of horribly bad fit from the manufacturer?

I know this is the opposite of what you're asking but I would go with a VFN (http://www.vfnfiberglass.com/) hood. I've owned their 4" cowl on my LT1 and the Sunoco on my LS1 and the fit, finish, and customer service have been top notch both times.

+1 for VFN

VFN has it down to a science.
