Default New hood, need opinions...*Poll*

Okay, I have been talked out of getting the mecham heat extractor hood. But there is a new one on the list. It is about 3/4's of the way down the page. http://www.vfnfiberglass.com/932001camaro.htm It says "98-2002 Camaro Wide "Sunoco Style" Extended to windshield." Its a Sunoco style hood. The only difference is this one deletes the windshield wipers and goes an extra 12" up to the windshield. Its light weight, and will be held on with cam locks. My car is slowly being taken off the road and turned into a track car...lol. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

i think the one your looking at is for the fiberglass race body cars. the ones that have extended front ends, making the hood longer.

I've already talked to vfn. The extra 12" goes up toward the windshield. The only thing they said that needs to be modified for this hood to fit is the removal of the windshield wipers and their brackets.

I think you could also have it trimmed, like their Mike Moran hood but I'm not quite sure about that. That wouldn't require that you remove your wipers.
