Default Spraying bumper techniques?...

Well, my 99 WS6 has had it's fair share of rock pits, scratches, mishaps etc and so I'd like to respray the front and rear bumpers. I was just curious as to technique involved. I'm sure I've got to sand down real fine, primer, coat, coat, gloss etc but what is the BEST way to do it? Also, should I just go to the local body shop and have them mix me up the correct black color code for the year of my car and make/model? I know black is pretty basic but there are many types of black. Let me know ANY suggestions. I have my tranny in at T56 rebuilds and Kragen is having to give me a reimbursement on a faulty slave cylinder that grendaded and destroyed my clutch so I'm kind of short on cash at the moment. That's why I want to do it myself.

Thanks, Nick
