Default Zaino instead of wash?

I have a few friends that do this, they will wash their car. Then the next day take it around the block say up to 30 miles and as long as they don't go through mud or anything they spray it will Z6 and wipe it off. I have always protested this practice but I live in an apartment and have to drive from the car wash to my garage before I can put the cover on the car and don't know what else to do. Should I spray it and wipe it or just forget the cover all winter and leave it dirty?

how far do you have to drive from the car wash to your apt ?

maybe you should look into some QEW or Optimum No Rinse Wash.
This may help you clean the car closer to home.

BUT, i would be leary, personally, about using a QD after driving the car.
i would hate to induce swirls, or worse, scratches because of that process

Quick and Easy Wash (and Optimum No Rinse, but it smells nasty) have been my friends since I've been living in apartment complexes. Now that I have a garage, nothing has changed...still use it, but only in my garage now. Best stuff since sliced bread...takes a while to get used to the technique, but I'll never go back to washing it any other way.

I don't think one can truly deep clean a vehicle with QEW. It's impossible to flush out sand, dirt, and other debris from cracks, underneath, etc.

I have used the Z6 'hobo wash' when I have not had time to wash the whole car. Just mist areas and give it a quick wipe. I only do this for light dirt. If it is heavier I will just wash the car. It seems to work fine but still looks better after a good wash than the Z6 quick bath.

Just as you're entitled to your opinion, I'm entitled to mine.
