Default C6 shifter **** part #

anyone know the part number? Also I know there is a non-sponsor that sells them modded to fit our cars, but what would it take to do it ourselves? Does it just need to be drilled and re-threaded??

This is a pic taken by silver02ta, hopefully he doesnt mind me using it. His install is right below this thread and has other pictures as well and looked so good it inspired me to do some research ...he bought his from a non-sponsor ready to be screwed on.
