Default Good price for stock hood?

I wasn't sure which forum to put this in but this one probably works.

There's a girl here in town who wrecked her Camaro last week and she's interested in buying my stock Camaro hood... what's a fair price to ask for it?

Stock (no ss) hoods aren't worth much at all, they have essentially no value.

If by chance the paint happens to match you could fairly ask for a couple hundred bucks. THink of it as selling the paint.

Course everything depends upon finding the right buyer, but they definitely don't sell well.

That's freakin awesome then.. I just talked to her again and the body shop was gonna charge her $1k so she offered me $400. It almost makes me feel bad, for real.

You should feel bad. Do it for $200. That would be more than fair- and your still making out.

Most important question you should ask yourself.

Is she hot?

Default T/a

I feel kinda stupid for spending $150 for a std T/A hood now. I just got it to practice cutting on for my scoop install. Anyone want to buy a black 4th Gen T/A hood...with a hole in it?

Yeah, I mean $400 would be great but that would be SOOOO crooked of you... She could get an aftermarket SS hood for that price... If you get $200 she gets a deal (as long as she doesn't need to paint your hood) and you get a HELLUVA deal and a clean(er) conscience...

In the end (obviously) it's your hood and your decision. I know it sounds retarded to tell you to ask for less money but sometimes it's the right thing. Sometimes it feels worse to get more for something when you know it's not worth it...
