Good price for stock hood?
I wasn't sure which forum to put this in but this one probably works.
There's a girl here in town who wrecked her Camaro last week and she's interested in buying my stock Camaro hood... what's a fair price to ask for it?

Stock (no ss) hoods aren't worth much at all, they have essentially no value.
If by chance the paint happens to match you could fairly ask for a couple hundred bucks. THink of it as selling the paint.
Course everything depends upon finding the right buyer, but they definitely don't sell well.

That's freakin awesome then.. I just talked to her again and the body shop was gonna charge her $1k so she offered me $400. It almost makes me feel bad, for real.

In the end (obviously) it's your hood and your decision. I know it sounds retarded to tell you to ask for less money but sometimes it's the right thing. Sometimes it feels worse to get more for something when you know it's not worth it...
