Telescoping sun shades or sun visors?
Whatever you want to call them...yunno the thing that you can flip down to block the sun while youre driving...anyone ever tried to pirate some telescoping visors from another GM car and put in their Fbod? My folks' Caddy has them but it'd look ugly if I got some from one with the little rod showing and nothing to snap it into in my TA. Being a tall person and them not blocking the sun from the side has rubbed me raw for too long. Any suggestions?

I am talking about it not blocking the sun on the sides; the visor doesn't reach far enough. Yes, the windows are tinted. Yes, I wear sun glasses. But still, the sun coming in from the side of the car is annoying. If I go too dark with the tint on the sides, I get to give the local authorities about 100 bucks. I was kinda hoping that someone had had the same annoyances as me and had already done it; oh well. Thanks

I can't help with whether it's been done or not, but I think you'd have a hard time with it. The hinge on f-body visors is very "stiff" since they don't have the retainer clip. Other cars are going to be more "loose" and probably come flying back in your face when you get on it. Just a thought.
