Default spray can primer

I bought rust-oleum automotive spray can primer and was wondering if I can spray a aftermaket fiberglass hood with it. I dont know if it is a urathaine base or not. I allready sprayed real primer on it and I want to add a little more just to even it out and fill some small imperfections. Please help.

I wouldn't trust it under a top coat. I take it you have a spray gun since you layed down a 2k? If so, pick up some polyester primer. It's basicly sprayable body putty. I've used it to smooth out several fiberglass parts now and it works awesome. It builds high and sands easy. I've had good luck with Evercoat Slick Sand and G2, Omni's polyester is also good too.

I just wanted to see if I use the rust-oleum automotive spray can primer if it would hold up and I can spray color over it.
