My F-Body project III
Well here it is, pretty much done with it. I still need to get rims and tires for it so dont bash me for the stockers that are on it . This is the second time Ive painted it, wasnt happy with the way the stripes looked (too narrow) so I reshot it again. Let me know what you all think about the interior pieces I painted as thats not my style at all but thought it'd look good being orange.
If anyone has some wheels theyd like to donate call me Goodwill
Im think Im going to go with Torque Thrust II's. I know theyre common and all but I really want a nice size lip and the ZR1's just doesnt have it.
Next step.....LSx motor

I think the stripes are good, but would look better with pinstripes where they meet the body color to tie them in. maybe dark gray mettalic stripes like this: (I did one side for comparison)
What do you think?

X2 on the pinstripe. You do nice work did you go to school for body work or are you a self taught body man? Nice car i would throw a black billet grill on there with the black pinstripes and that would finish it off with TT2's.

Thanks all for the comments, I have a billit grill that I plan on putting in thats why I didnt fill the holes. I kept it silver because I planned on painting it flat black so the grill shows better but now Im digging the silver and wish Id filled the holes. Oh well, you live and learn and Ive learned alot doing this car.
Yes Im self taught. i work at a body shop as a painter but I taught myself everything.
Absolutely getting chrome wheels, Im a huge fan of black/gun metal but nothing but chrome will work on this car IMO.
If I would have had the money I would have gotten a SS hood and spoiler. Believe me, I wish it was on there

Notice that Chip Foose always pinstripes his stripes. Really makes them stand out nice.
Chrome deep dish rims will make the whole car look twice as nice.
As for the painted interior, surprizingly I think the orange looks very clean as opposed to ricey. The only problem is that the gray looks boring and dated next to it. Maybe something could be done with the gray?
