Default new style steering wheel conversion

is it possible to install a newer style 2000-2002 steering wheel in a 1998-1999 camaro ss beacuse ive seen alot of good deals on 98-99 camaro ss but i dont like the older steering wheels and i dont want to pay 2-4k diffrence for a steering wheel.

yeah but the big question is can you install a C6 steering wheel? thatd be extremely badass.

so how do you do it

also what the diffrence between the 98-99 vs 2000-2002 in the interior or is it just the steering wheel

the audio controls after 98 were cheaper, but thats about it.

and as far as the vette steering wheel goe si really dont think it would look to great in a z or t/a

Are the ones your looking at equiped with Steering Wheel controls or not? If so you can just switch out the controls. If now, you'll need to make sure the wiring is there for the controls on the new wheel.

what i want to do is swap out the old style 93-99 style sterring wheel for a 2000-2002 style steering wheel with audio controls and be able to use it.

yes you can do that, i just did it in mine. in order to get those audio controls to work you need to run wire through your steering column and hook them into your radio. your better off just buying a column from a wrecked car, so you wont need to mess with it.
