For those who have VHT and clear coated their pieces, do you wet sand the VHT with 1500 grit then clear it?

Did you wet sand the clear to get a better finish?

Yes I let mine dry for 24 hours, then wetsanded and applied a couple of thick coats of clear.

Sand the lights with 800 grit to unsmooth the surface for good adhesion. Wipe with alcohol. Spray with light coats of VHT until you hit the desired depth. Let dry for 24hrs. Sand with 1000, 1500 and 2000. Wipe down with alcohol. Spray as many clearcoats as you would like but use very light coats, let dry between coats, and clean with alcohol before each new coat. Let dry for 24 hours. Wetsand with 1500 and 2000 grit sandpaper and you should be set!

No problem! BTW for you Camaro owners, if you have a Berger panel this setup looks absolutely awesome.
