newb question about paint
every time I wash my car I use clean normal towels. I know I shouldn't do that cause it makes tiny scratches. what do I use to dry off the car?

I use a chamois first to get the big stuff off. Then I go down to a terry cloth or microfiber towel.

I've seen this thing called the absorber. It is a super absorbent fabric that is made of some type of rubber. You just wipe of the water and ring it dry when it starts to become over saturated. Then just keep drying. When you're done it just goes back into its plastic case and you don't have to worry about it getting moldy because like I said its not vabric, its some type of rubber.

chamoise are the worst. Save your money. Get the absorber. My absorber dried up before and it still works great. The leaf blower just sounds like an accident waiting to happen. Use the micro fiber towel with some quick detailer to get dried water spots.

Unless you accidentally load up the leaf blower with rocks and sand I don't see anything hitting the car but air. It's just less time you're making physically making contact. I finish with a small MF towel and I'm done drying.
Now I usually have pulled my car into the garage to do this but if it's shaded outside, I make sure to spray down the driveway so that I don't kick up any dirt particles.
