considering selling the bird...(same as post in TX section) FOR A VETTE....like an 05 or 06!
could anyone give me a quick "vette tutorial" lol im kinda new to the vette world....i need to be educated! lol
correct me if im wrong...
the new body style (05 and up) my options are
c5...?
z06...? (i THINK the c5 and this are the same but like i said im not sure...)
c6 z06...
these are just the basics
am i missing anything?
i feel like a retard asking...but its the only way to learn

c5 is the body style that started in 97 and went till 03 or 04, then the c5 body style started. Both body styles had a zo6 option, and the c5's z06 style was only available in the FRC body style ( fix roof coupe )
I'd go with a c5 z06

The C5 body style went to 04 and C5 zo6's are your best bet if your looking for a 6 speed. Only go for the 02-04 year of Zo6 though being this got some more goodies than the 01 version. I dont think there are too many deals for used C6's just yet. Im planning on getting a vette myself soon, corvette forum is a good place to shop around.

is rated at 505. All only come in a 6-speed. If your looking for something a little more avaliable and with better deals look at the C5's.
