Default Anyone with Corbeau Seats?

I just needed a quick question answered about the Corbeau seats if you currently have them in your F-body. A big problem I have had in the past with other seats including Recaro and Sparco is with the new seat bracket and slider, they sit you up higher about 3" than the stock seat does. Do the Corbeau seats have the same issue? The CR1 is what seat I'm looking at if that matters.

Thanks

I was inquiring to Livernois Motorsports about the same thing and was told I would be sitting slightly lower - I believe it was in reference to all Corbeau seats but I was asking about GTS 2s.

I has the Corbeau TRS's in my 93 TA and they definately sat lower than stock. In fact that was probably the only thing I did not like about them (little rough on long drives too) but sold the car before I could throw some spacers on them....

The Corbeaus I had in my silver Formula sat a tiny bit lower than the stock seats. I still have the seats, probably going to put them in my black Formula.

I have the CR1's in my Cobra, not much help to you though. Sorry.

I can tell you that they dropped my ride height tremendously. Fbody
seats are much lower than Cobra seats though.

Thanks for the responses so far. THey have been a big help

For those that have put them in F-bodies, what did you do about the seatbelt? You lose the little loop on the stock seat that keeps the seatbelt off your ear. What did you do to get around that or are people just going w/ harness bars and harnesses? I'd prefer to keep the stock belts if possible as it is a daily driven car.
