Default another seat thread...which material should I get?

I am going to replace both front seats and the rear seat cover. they have vinyl, but as you can see, it is much smoother and shiny than real leather, but they said they are soft. He did say for an additional $100, he could add texture to it so its more like leather (you can barely tell the difference). Should I just get vinyl or the other stuff? There is no way I am paying for full leather.

all in black with custom stitching...what do you think? Part of me says save $ to get vinyl, but then the other part of me says get the better quality vinyl and be done with it...The only problem, it would take them 2 weeks to make them as opposed to 3 days to my door, with the exception of the rear seats, those are custom made.

btw, I'm getting all black...I have the black/camel interior. Would a change to all black seats look good? I think it would, and the camel gets too dirty easily. What do you guys think?

I'm still SOOO confused as to where you got the Cobra knock-offs from (that you had the height problem with)...

Why are you paying $499 to Arizen for crappy vinyl when you can get real leather for $399 from Mad Racing???

You get what you pay for especially when it comes to materials for upholstery.

I'm getting ready to recover my interior. My father and I are getting all of the materials together and he is going to do the work. I hope to have them done by Jan.

arizen is going to be way better quality I think no matter how similar they look. They are making mine from scratchk, which I like. They are also doing very custom work on them...you will see very soon

I thought he was talking about the material covering the seats not the seats themselves

Id just get the cloth seats, but vinyl is an another option. As long as it's not leather.
