Default Ignition/key mod =)

Half the key in the ignition. Funny thing is still works perfect, security light comes on everyonce in awhile but owell. Nothin like freking out a friend by throwin my keys at his head.

Hopefully you're going to fix it before you somehow get stranded... I'd try a pen magnet...

You think a pen manget would be strong enough? Id assume that hed have to take the ignition apart and push it out from the back.

Well look at it this way if someone ever gets a copy of my key... No way 2 steal it unless they break the other key in the exact spot.

Definetly worth a shot... Pulling the ignition cylinder SUCKS (I've replaced them on friend's cars before)... Mainly because the airbag is a PITA to not mess up.

If a small magnet doesn't work rig up a piece of 3M doublesided tape (or something sticky) onto the very end of your broken half (that came out), stick it in ther and hope it grabs the other half so you can pull it out...
